Trinity Lutheran Church – Communion Serving Table.

This counter height communion serving table was designed and built for the Trinity Lutheran Church in Mountain Grove, Pennsylvania.  The entire piece is made from locally harvested solid red oak, crafted with mortise and tenon joinery.  The half lap joints comprising the top and bottom supports of the table are also reinforced with loose tenon joinery.  The table is at the head of the church, centered behind the alter, and serves to hold the communion equipment and supplies.
